Accessibility statement.
Our target, where this site stands today, and how to tell us about a problem.
1. Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use keyboards, screen readers, magnification or other assistive technology. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
2. Conformance status
This website partially conforms with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. It has not yet had an independent accessibility audit. The measures below are ones we have put in place, and the limitations that follow are ones we know about.
3. What we have done
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, and focus is shown with a visible outline.
- One main heading per page, with headings in logical order.
- Form fields have visible labels that are linked to their inputs, and the consent tick-box can be used with a keyboard.
- Text colours were checked against the 4.5:1 contrast ratio for body text. Fonts are served from our own server.
- When your device is set to reduce motion, the home page opening animation is skipped, the pinned process section becomes a static staircase and the remaining animations are reduced or removed.
- The pages work without JavaScript, apart from the menu, the opening animation on the home page and the in-page success message after the contact form is sent.
4. Known limitations
- The full range of contrast, zoom and reflow behaviour has not been verified at every screen size and zoom level.
- We have not yet tested the site with the main screen readers.
- Third-party websites that we link to are outside our control and may not be accessible.
We plan to carry out a structured WCAG 2.2 AA review and fix what it finds. We will update this statement afterwards.
5. Technical basis
The site is built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It relies on these technologies for conformance: HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS and JavaScript. It is designed for current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
6. Feedback and contact
If you find something on this site that you cannot use, or if you need information in another format, email mvaneck@next-lvl.tech or phone +27 65 260 0847. Tell us the page, what happened and the device and assistive technology you use if you can. We aim to reply within five business days and to fix confirmed barriers promptly.
